If we want to have the power and insight of the Early Church, we need to have the perspective and priorities of the early church. Acts 2 tells us that they “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, and to the breaking of bread and to prayer…Everyone was filled with awe…” So many today are not even in true “fellowship” even though God designed us to thrive in the context of community!
