We are committed to Loving God & Loving Others, and to sharing the Good News through relevant Bible teaching, authentic worship, sincere community, and powerful prayer. We aim to reach our city for Christ, to develop strong Christ Followers, and to empower all to represent Christ authentically and selflessly.

Pastor Brian Cashman

LEAD PASTOR

I'm so honored to serve with such an amazing team of great people here at Metro Church. I love to see people fall in love with Jesus and discover their calling. Whether it's through times of worship, honest bible teaching, or just doing life together, I want to see this church become a place where everyone in our city finds their God-given purpose and never walks alone. I love the Lord, I love my family, I love this amazing team at Metro, and together we love Los Angeles! For fun, I love snowboarding, hitting the gym, playing guitar, listening to great music, and locking in with my family around Sunday dinners.

WOMEN’S PASTOR

Jesus came to set the captives free. It is my passion to see people fully redeemed and live out the freedom that Jesus paid for. I want all of those around us to be filled with His presence and power. That is the Jesus I know. My family is the most important part of my life, other than the Lord. And, in my spare time, I dream of bringing revival to this city and to the ends of the earth. My life verse Luke 4:18 & 19!

What We Believe

 

  • We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and, without which, we have no right to claim ourselves to be Christians

  • We Believe that worship of God should be Spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

  • We Believe that worship of God should be Inspirational. Therefore, we give a great place to music in our worship.

  • We Believe that worship of God should be Intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God, that He might instruct us on how He should be worshiped.

  • We Believe that worship of God is Fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him

    About the Bible

    We Believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error, it is the basis of truth and it applies to all aspects of life today.

    About God

    We believe in one personal God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority and glory.

    About Jesus

    We believe Jesus Christ to be the virgin born Son of God who lived in flesh, died for the sins of the world, was buried, rose again bodily, ascended to the Father, and will return for all His people.

    About the Holy Spirit

    We Believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Christ. He assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus and convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and empowers us for service.

    About Mankind

    We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

    About Salvation

    We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way for the forgiveness of sin. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation cannot be earned, it is a free gift from God.

    About the Church

    We Believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him, obeying Him, serving Him, and bringing the gospel to the world.

    About Eternity

    We Believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

    We are part of the Calvary Chapel fellowship of churches.
